Our Team

Dr Mirosław Sopek is a graduate of the Faculty of Technical Physics and Applied Mathematics of the Lodz University of Technology. He received his doctorate at the Faculty of Chemistry in the field of Theoretical Chemistry. In 1989 he founded the digital agency MakoLab which went public in 2007. In 2014 he created Chemical Semantics Inc, and in 2017 LEI.INFO – both in the state of Florida, USA. He is also the CTO at MakoLab SA.

Dominik Kuziński has been MakoLab's employee since 2006. At first he worked in Business Solutions department as a consultant and deployment specialist. In 2012 he moved to a newly created R&D department as a specialist. Because of department character his range of responsibilites was very broad and covered: administration of semantic databases, data migration, ontology creation, semantic markup, self sovereign identity, blockchain technologies and graph databases.

Prof. Piotr Kulicki is a director at the Department of Computer Science at the Faculty of Philosophy of the Catholic University of Lublin. He was the dean of the Faculty of Philosophy for many years. He is an outstanding logician and our link to wider academic community.

Dominik Tomaszuk received a Ph.D. degree from the Warsaw University of Technology, in 2014, in computer science. He has been MakoLab's employee since 2020. He is also a researcher at the Institute of Computer Science, University of Bialystok. His current research interests include Semantic Web, RDF, property graphs, and NoSQL databases.
